Becoming a Client

1. Initial Meeting
This is a high-level, complimentary meeting that allows us to ask each other important questions. We feel it is best to make sure that we are a good fit for you, and in the same respect, you are a good fit for our firm. We want to ensure our interests are aligned, and we can work towards mutual goals.
2. Data Collection
Prior to this meeting, we will ask you to provide specific information necessary to complete your comprehensive financial plan. During our meeting we will review your financial situation and have a conversation to ensure we have a thorough understanding of what you desire to achieve.

3. Analysis
We will take time to analyze your financial information and use our advanced financial planning software to create projections for your goals. As we review every aspect of financial planning (Cash Flow review, Goal Readiness, Risk Management, Investment Management, Estate Planning and Tax Optimization) we will develop recommendations to discuss during our next meeting.

4. Review Financial Plan
Together, we outline a projected “roadmap” to reach your goals. Depending upon the initial outcomes, we will be able to review “what if” scenarios to see how various changes could affect your projections. We will also review recommended actions necessary to achieve your goals.
5. Implement
In and of themselves, financial plans and recommendations don’t change your financial situation. Together, we can proactively affect the outcome of your financial situation by taking action and implementing various recommendations your advisor might make. A few examples could include: obtain a will, ensure your investments are properly allocated, confirm you have the correct insurance plans, and have a strategy to optimize your social security benefits.
6. Monitor
We meet with our clients at least annually. Monitoring the financial plan continually will help make sure you are making progress. This also gives us a chance to update your goals as your life changes. The goals you had 10 years ago, may not be the goals you desire today. Staying in close communication helps to make sure the best decisions are being made throughout your journey.

Our Broker-Dealer

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
Just as you can choose your financial professional, we can choose our independent broker-dealer.
As independent financial professionals, we are not an employee of an investment or financial services firm – we are independent business owners.
We are proud that our values are shared with our broker-dealer. Together, we focus on a common priority – you.
As one of the most respected and largest privately held independent broker-dealers in the U.S., Cambridge is owned entirely by its management and financial professionals.
Their executive leadership has consciously built a legal structure, business plan, and a superior management team with the goal of remaining privately owned. Cambridge, member FINRA/SIPC, has continually put the objectivity of independent financial professionals first to ensure the long-term success of the financial services industry, financial professionals, and clients.
